Paving, Maintenance Projects To Cause Delays On Beaverton Neighborhood Streets

Three Beaverton neighborhoods will be affected by Public Works' projects until July 20, city officials said. The work began July 10.

BEAVERTON, OR — Several city streets may see occasional delays for the next week while Public Works' crews conduct paving and maintenance projects in two Beaverton neighborhoods.

The projects began Monday, July 10, and will continue through July 20, officials said. Paving projects will begin at 7 a.m. and maintenance work will begin around 7:30 a.m. All work is expected to be finished by 5 p.m. daily to minimize traffic disruptions, though delays can be expected in affected areas during daytime work hours.

The following streets will be affected by the paving projects:

  • In the Bridletrail Neighborhood —

  • Southwest Bridletrail Avenue, from Southwest Davies Road to Southwest Brockman Street;
  • Southwest Bridletrail Court, from Southwest Bridletrail Avenue to the cul-de-sac;
  • Southwest Pommel Court, from Southwest Bridletrail Avenue to the cul-de-sac;
  • Southwest Stirrup Court, from Southwest Stirrup Street to the cul-de-sac; and
  • Southwest Stirrup Street, from Southwest Davies Road to the cul-de-sac.
  • In the Yearling Way Neighborhood —

  • Southwest Pony Place, from Southwest Brockman Street to the cul-de-sac;
  • Southwest Yearling Court, from Southwest Yearling Place to the cul-de-sac;
  • Southwest Yearling Place, from Southwest Yearling Way to the cul-de-sac; and
  • Southwest Yearling Place, from Southwest Maverick Terrace to Southwest Pony Place.

A street maintenance project to patch pavement and remove overly cracked areas will occur in the Southwest Stallion Drive neighborhood from July 11 to July 12, affecting the following streets:

  • In the Southwest Stallion Drive Neighborhood —

  • Southwest Stallion Drive, from Southwest Brockman Street to Southwest Davies Road;
  • Southwest Arabian Drive, from Southwest Stallion to Southwest Saddle Drive;
  • Southwest Palomino Place, from Southwest Weir Road to the cul-de-sac;
  • Southwest Rodeo Place, from Southwest Weir Road to the cul-de-sac; and
  • Southwest Weir Road, from Southwest Dapplegrey Loop to Southwest Davies Road.

Commuters are asked to watch for flaggers in the affected work areas as roads will remain open to local traffic.
