Recall Alert: Reser's Fine Foods Recalls 19 Refrigerated Salads

Beaverton-based Reser's Fine Foods has issued a nationwide recall of 19 refrigerated salads because they were told by one of their onion suppliers that one lot may contain Listeria monocytognes.

As of now, there have been no reports of illness connected with the salads.

The retail product is sold in plastic containers and is marked with a Use By Date and the #10 at the end of the line of printing.

The recalled refrigerated salads were distributed to retailers and distribution centers in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, WA, WY, and British Columbia.

The bacteria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail people, and elderly people.

Healthy people may just experience some short-term symbols such as high fever, headache, nausea.
