- Road rage turned tragic on SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway near 103rd Avenue on Friday when two armed men confronted each other. Both men got out of their vehicles with handguns and fired shots, resulting in the death of one. Police identified Mark E. Stadamire of Salem, 51, as the deceased. An investigation is underway. - Hillsboro Hops, rebranded as Los Soñadores for its final few games, ended the game against Eugene abruptly Saturday evening due to a lighting malfunction. The interrupted game will resume at 11:00 AM Sunday. The organization says tickets from Saturday's game will be good on Sunday. (Twitter)
