Sex Offender Arrested For Exposing Himself To 6-Year-Old Girls

Samuel Burris allegedly exposed his penis twice to young girls at Dollar Tree stores in Washington County.

BEAVERTON, OR — A convicted sex offender was arrest Tuesday night after Beaverton police learned he'd been exposing himself and inappropriately touching girls as young as 6 years old at Dollar Tree stores in Washington County.

Samuel Troy Burris, 44, was taken to the Washington County Jail on two counts of first degree sex abuse, three counts of public indecency, and resisting arrest. His bail is set at $250,000.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office was first notified on Sept. 6 that a man exposed his penis to a 6-year-old girl at the Cedar Mill Dollar Tree store, 13575 N.W. Cornell Rd. A second incident was reported Oct. 11, but this time it involved two girls, ages 6 and 7, at the Aloha Dollar Tree, 17475 S.W. Farmington Rd.

During the second incident, Burris allegedly exposed his penis and sexually abused both girls.

During their investigation, Washington County detectives learned Burris is required to register as a sex offender for a previous sex crime conviction in Washington state.
