Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:

  1. Beaverton police arrested two individuals Monday night after a traffic stop. Officers confiscated large amounts of fentanyl, meth, Xanax in addition to cash and guns. (@beaverton_police)
  2. Beaverton School District will continue to require face masks. Both the Oregon Department of Education and Oregon Health Authority have yielded authority to school districts in determining masking policies. (Beaverton School District)
  3. In honor of National School Bus Safety Week, Beaverton School District showcased staff efforts to keep kids well-fed during these strange times via the BSD Bus Stop Meals program in a special video. (Beaverton School District)
  4. Experience Theater Festival announced Monday that the group is planning an in-person Shakespeare Festival in Beaverton this July. The festival will take place on the Beaverton City Library’s South Lawn. (Beaverton Valley Times)
