- It's almost that time of the year again, folks! Washington County Government issued its 2021-22 Property Tax Statement, offering a breakdown of the average property tax dollar. As in most years, the biggest portion goes to education and neighborhood services such as firefighting and parks. The County notes there was a 3 percent increase in taxes this year.
