Suspect in Tigard Key Bank Robbery Arrested
Kevin J. Castle was arrested without incident in Gresham for allegedly robbing the bank in Tigard Feb. 27.

Tigard police have arrested a suspect from the Key Bank robbery last month.
The city’s Commercial Crimes Unit investigators, with help from U.S. Marshals, arrested Kevin J. Castle at a Gresham-area apartment Mar. 14. Castle, 26, was reportedly taken into custody without incident.
According to Tigard police spokesman Jim Wolf, a Washington County Grand Jury indicted Castle Mar. 10 for allegedly robbing an “undisclosed amount of money” from the Tigard Key Bank at 11665 S.W. Pacific Highway after handing a bank employee a demand note Feb. 27.

Castle implied he had a weapon, though no one was hurt before he fled the bank, police said.
Castle, who has no known address and a history of arrests in the Washington County area, is charged with second-degree robbery (a Measure 11 crime) and first-degree theft. He is currently being held at the Washington County Jail on Southwest Adams Avenue in Hillsboro.
