A mother and daughter driving on Highway 26 in Beaverton narrowly avoided serious injury when a piece of metal crashed through their windshield.
Beaverton Police say it appeared to be similar to a large mower blade that had been kicked up from the roadway.
It went through the windshield and lodged in the dashboard.
