Volunteers Work to Make Playground More Accessible
Volunteers from US Bank work with nonprofit to improve Beaverton park. They then painted the house of someone having financial trouble.
Volunteers from US Bank showed up in Beaverton this week to help revitalize Arbor Lodge Park and make it more accessible.
The volunteers worked with Harper's Playground - a nonprofit that develops innovative and inclusive playgrounds for children.
Arbor Lodge was the first playground that Harper's developed.

Once they finished at the park, volunteers paired up with another nonprofit - Rebuilding Together Washington County - to paint the home of a local community member who is less fortunate and has been having trouble keeping up with home maintenance.
A spokeswoman for the bank said they are undertaking a national effort to help turn around a decline in volunteerism that has been seen in recent years.
