Here are the top five stories in Beaverton today:

  1. Beaverton police are looking for the community's help identifying a trio of porch pirates who struck on Sunday. Doorbell camera footage showed three men loitering around a home on SW 183rd Avenue before snagging a package from the porch and departing in a silver sedan.   2. The Washington County Sheriff's Office issued a warning to drivers about road conditions on Monday morning. The agency notes that winter storms and ice melt have created high water areas throughout town that can make driving dangerous.   3. A global financial expert has praised Nike for its digital commerce strategy. Robert Drbul of Guggenheim Securities, LLC, named Nike stock his "best idea" for 2022 due to the company's push into the metaverse.
