• Cougar spotted near high school in Gresham (kptv.com) — Police are warning residents near Springwater Trail High School after a cougar was spotted in a tree in a Gresham neighborhood late Wednesday night. Officers are monitoring the animal and asking neighbors to call 911 if it comes down and starts roaming. It's the second cougar seen near a Gresham school this week, after another was euthanized behind Wilkes Elementary.

Coaches say the Pioneers, led by standout lineman Colton Lucas and quarterback Micaiah Turin, are aiming for a 5A state title. Hi there, my son, (122nd and Stark area) found a small female cat, grey and white with dark golden eyes. I've taken her in to foster and try and find the owners. She's been on the streets for a few weeks or so. Her tail wis bit off by a dog or coyote. (Nextdoor SW Gresham)
