• Gresham murder suspect, Portland police dog killed in shootout (theoutlookonline.com) — Gresham detectives are investigating a homicide after a resident was found dead in a Southeast Market Street home, and the suspected killer was later shot and killed during an arrest attempt in Portland. A Portland Police K9, Kylo, also died from gunshot wounds, and investigators are asking anyone with information about the Gresham killing to call the city's tip line.
   

• UPDATE #1: Man Killed in Officer-Involved Shooting Connected to Gresham Homicide (portland.gov) — Portland Police say the man killed in Thursday's Hazelwood officer-involved shooting was the suspect in a homicide that happened earlier the same day in Gresham. Investigators from multiple agencies are reviewing the use of force and asking anyone with additional information about the shooting to email detectives, while a separate link offers more details on the Gresham killing itself.
