Court Documents Say Teen Charged with Murder Admitted Shooting

Jamaine Oliver was arrested on Friday, chagred with the muder of Christopher Moss.

A teenage arrested on Friday and charged with murder in connection with the killing of 19-year-old Christopher Moss of Gresham, told police he shot the teen, according to court documents.

Jamaine Oliver told Gresham detectives that he had shot Moss but claimed that Moss had a knife and was trying to stab him.

The incident happened Thursday night in a building near Northeast 162nd Avenue and Glisan Street in Gresham. The two had been in a fight. Moss was taken to a hospital where he died.

Oliver, who turned 18 the day before the shooting, was arrested nearby.
