Early Morning Fire Displaces Dozens, Labeled Suspicious

An early morning fire that sent dozens from their home has been labeled suspicious, says the Gresham Police Department.

It happened around 4:20 Sunday morning at 400 Northeast Cleveland Avenue.

Gresham Fire arrived art apartment and found smoke and flames coming from the building.

The fire went to a second alarm and more units were called.

They were able to bring the fire under control and no one was injured.

The Red Cross arrived to help the 38 people displaced by the fire.

The estimated cost of the damage is more than $500,000.

The investigation continues.
