'Extremely Destructive' Rifle Stolen From Gresham Home: Police
A single .50 round could penetrate 'heavy-duty commercial glass, cement walls, vehicle engine blocks, body armor, or multiple houses.'

GRESHAM, OR — Police and Crime Stoppers of Oregon are seeking information about a recent residential burglary in Gresham, which apparently included the theft of a .50 caliber Grizzly Big Boar — an incredibly destructive weapon capable of hitting targets (with accuracy) up to 2,000 meters.
The rifle, valued between $1,700 and $3,300, was stolen from a downtown Gresham residence sometime between Jan. 18 and 20. No suspect information is currently available, however.
"The rifle was in a black plastic rifle case with the 'Grizzly' logo on the side," police said in a statement released Tuesday. "This rifle is capable of firing extremely destructive rounds that could potentially go through heavy-duty commercial glass, cement walls, vehicle engine blocks, body armor and can even go through multiple houses at once."
