Teen Arrested in Threat at Gresham High School

Gresham-Barlow School District placed Gresham High School on lockout after a spray-painted threat is discovered.

An 18-year-old teenager from Hillsboro was arrested for spray-painting a threat on the side of Gresham High School.

The threat resulted in the school spending about two hours on lockout Friday morning.

Gresham Police say that Gregory Carlon Zambrano was having a dispute with a teen at the school ver a woman they both know,

The threat said there would be a shooting at the school at 9AM.

Several students tweeted about the threat.

"Gresham High School staff will meet students as they arrive to safely let them in the building," a representative of the school district posted on the district's Facebook page.

Around 10:30, the district notified parents and others that the threat was over, adding that parents could pick up their children if they wanted.

Gresham Police say they have not been able to find anything to indicate that Zambrano was going to act on his threat.
