Gresham Man in Critical Condition After Being Hit by SUV

Gresham Police are continuing their investigation into a crash that sent to a 38-yer-old man to a hospital in critical condition.

It happened just after 6:00 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Southeast 172nd and Burnside.

The man, whose name has not been released, was standing on the sidewalk when he was hit by a 2001 Dodge Durango driven by a 25-year-old man whose name has also not been released.

The driver, who police think may have been speeding, stayed on the scene and was cooperating.
