He wanted to record what was going.

He ended up recording his own arrest.

Marlow put the video on YouTube. He sued the city for police brutality. The city settled with him, writing a check for $7,500.

On Tuesday, Marlow was convicted of interfering with police.

Gresham Police didn't dispute Marlow's right to record police; they said his arrest stemmed from his actions putting himself and others in danger.

Marlow was not allowed to tell jurors of his settlement with police.

He was sentenced to one year probation and 80 hours of community service.

Marlow wil also have to pay a $500 fine.
