Gresham Marks Night Out Against Crime

Build awareness of anti crime and drug prevention programs.

Build police community relations.

Let criminals know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Those are just a few of the goals of the Annual National Night Out Against Crime happening Tuesday August 2nd.

There will be block parties and cookouts, visits from police officers and firefighters, flashlight walks and youth programs.

The event has happened in cities on the first Tuesday of August every year since 1983.
