Gresham Police Bring Christmas Spirit to Family in Need
Toys and other gifts for a family that couldn't afford to celebrate.

Gresham Police Officers brought some Christmas spirit to a family in need. It happened late last week.
Two officers responded to a call involving a single mother and her two daughters, ages six-years-old and one-year-old.
The officers discovered that in addition to other problems, the mom could not afford Christmas gifts for her daughters.

The officers and other department staff donated toys, clothes, and gift cards. They filled two patrol cars with Christmas gifts.
"Thank you to all the officers and staff that serve this community every day," the city of Gresham said in a statement.
