
An 11-year-old walking on the 4700 block of Southwest 11th Street in Gresham and carrying two bags from Target with personal items was robbed Thursday afternoon. Gresham Police say that the boy was not harmed.
Police say it happened around 2:30.
The thief, described only as a white man in his 30s, had been riding a dark colored mountain bike in the area prior to approaching the boy.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time and displayed a knife while taking the bags from the boy. The man rode westbound on SW 11th with his ill-gotten gains and the boy ran for help.
Gresham detectives are asking that anyone who saw this incident or believe they know the identity of the suspect call the Gresham Police tip line at 503.618.2719.
