19-Year-Old Arrested for Murder in Gresham
Victim is believed to a be a 20-year-old man.

A 19-year-old woman is under arrest, charged with murder after a man was killed over the weekend in Gresham. Ariana Marlene Cortez is expected in Multnomah County Court on Monday.
Gresham Police had been called to 1200 block of Northeast 183rd Avenue early Sunday morning after a 911 call from a neighborhood resident saying a man needed help.
Police arrived and found the man who they believed to have been the victim of an assault.

The man lost consciousness and died a short time later. Police believe he was around 20-years-old.
According to court documents, his name is Tony Hernandez-Duarte.

Court documents state that police were directed to a home on the block where they believed the incident happened.
They ended up interviewing Cortez that Hernandez - whom she did not know - showed up at a party she was throwing. He caused all sorts of problems, she said. and was "going crazy."
At one point, she was told he had a knife so she grabbed a knife. She said she blacked out and did not remember what happened next.
