Gresham Woman Charged with Killing Husband Appears in Court

He died in the street. She was arrested later in the day

Jennifer Lowery, 48, appeared in court Thursday, charged with killing her husband.

A plea of not guilty was entered on her behalf.

Mark Lowery was found lying in the street around 2:30AM Wednesday morning on the 1500 block of Northeast Division Street.

KOIN 6 News reported that friends of the couple said that they had been out drinking at a nearby pub before the incident.

Responding officers tried to save Lowery but it was too late.

The couple co-owned a construction firm.

In addition to manslaughter, Lowery is charged with hit and run, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants.
