Gresham Police Seek Jewelry Thief
Man robbed a pawn shop of jewelry worth about $9,000.
Take a good look at the man in the picture. Gresham Police say that last month he robbed a pawn shop of approximately $9,000 in jewelry.
On October 29, police responded to Silver Lining Jewelry & Loan at 300 Southeast 181st Avenue after report of a theft. They say that the man in the picture had walked in, asked to see two diamond rings and, once he had them, ran into a small, grey, passenger car waiting outside.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 45-years-old, with brown hair, a short brown beard and a cross tattoo on his hand. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored FOX baseball hat, a dark-colored jacket and blue jeans.
