Gresham Police Seek "Person of Interest" in Robbery of 11-Year-Old

Police would like to speak with Michael Richard Gonzalez.

Gresham Police would like to speak with 26-year-old Michael Ricardo Gonzalez in connection with the October 20th robbery of an 11-year-old boy. The boy was robbed of personal items that he had been carrying in two bags from Target.

Police say the suspect fled on a dark colored mountain bike.

The robbery happened around 2:30 in the afternoon of the 20th on the 4700 block of Southwest 11th Street. The boy was not harmed.

Gresham detectives are asking people to call the Gresham Police tip line at 503.618.2719 if they saw this incident or know where Gonzalez is located.

Gonzalez had previously achieved notoriety in 2013 when he led Portland Police on a chase when he was in a car that had been stolen from a woman in Gresham.
