Gresham Police are warning of a thin, white man in his thirties who approached a six-year-old girl and asked if she would go home with him.

The incident happened Monday evening between 6:30 and 7:00 on the 1700 block of NW Division Street.

The girl had been playing with a friend nearby when she heard talking on a pedestrian access path connecting Division and NW Bella Vista Point. Curious, but knowing her parents would not have let her, the girl went up the path.
