Gresham Schools: Child Pepper-Sprayed on Way to School
It happened Tuesday morning. Suspect at large.
A child on his way to Hollydale Elementary School in Gresham was pepper-sprayed Tuesday morning.
It happened right around 8 a.m. near the intersection of SW 4th and Lillyben.
The child was walking when a white panel van pulled up beside him, one or more persons jumped out and sprayed the child with pepper spray,

They then got back in the van, which sped off.
The school's principal posted about the incident on the district's Facebook page.

The van may have an Oregon license plate with the tree design.
The principal reported the incident to police.
The child was brought to the hospital by his mother and is okay.
