Under careful direction, more than 14,000 wooden blocks depicting what the view will look like from the Hogan Butte Nature Point Lookout once construction is complete.

The lookout - on a clear day - will offer views of five mountains - Adams, Baker, Hood, Jefferson, and St. Helens.

The mosaic, which will be on display at City Hall, is 1,238.33 feet long - long enough to earn it entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
