Jaguar Driver Killed In Head-On Collision With Tanker Truck
The slain 71-year-old Jaguar driver, a Sandy man, has not yet been identified by law enforcement officials. The truck driver was not hurt.

SANDY, OR — A 71-year-old man was killed early Friday when he crashed nearly head-on into a commercial tanker truck on Mt. Hood Highway near Ruben Lane, according to Oregon State Police.
The unidentified man, a Sandy resident, was reportedly driving his 1997 Jaguar Coupe west out of Sandy while in the eastbound lanes around 4:45 a.m. Jan. 26. Near just before the Ruben Lane intersection, the Jaguar collided nearly head-on with a commercial tanker truck towing two fuel trailers.
The Jaguar driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The truck driver, a 49-year-old man from Fairview, was not injured, police said.
