Man Shot At Gresham Park Sunday Night; Police Seek Info On Killer

Prior to the shooting, Adrian Berg was attending a social event at Pat Pfeifer Park, police say. His killer is an unidentified black man.

GRESHAM, OR — Adrian Gilberto Berg was shot while at Pat Pfeifer Park in Gresham Sunday night. Berg later died at hospital and now police are asking the community for help finding his killer.

When he was shot around 8 p.m. Aug. 6, Berg, 32, was reportedly attending a social event at 424 N.E. 172nd Ave. Prior to his shooting, Berg was seen arguing with an unidentified black male near the southeastern edge of the park, near the intersection of Northeast 176th Avenue and Northeast Davis Street, police said. After the man allegedly shot Berg, he fled the area.

The shooting suspect is described as being in his 20s or 30s. Police are unsure whether the two men knew each other.
