Man Who Shot Three - Killing One - Gets 12 Years in Prison

Wallace Simpson, who admitted to shooting three people, one of whom died, will spend 12 years in prison.

He had pleaded no contest last week to charges including attempted murder and manslaughter.

The plea stems from an incident last August when Simpson fired multiples times at three people on the 1700 block of Northeast Halsey.

Kevin Varnado, who was struck in the face died.

Malcolm Jessie and Collette Harris were both wounded.

The four knew each other.

Simpson turned himself in days after the shooting.
