Gresham Boy Killed in Crash: GoFundMe Account Set up to Help Family
Jaafar Shbeb was six weeks shy of his eleventh birthday.

An online account has been set up to help the family of a ten-year-old boy killed earlier this week when a car crashed into him, killing him.
Jaafar Shbeb was sx weeks shy of his eleventh birthday.
He had been walking with his sister and a friend. it was around 4:15 and they were on their home from nearby Glenfair elementary School.

According to the webpage, Jaafar's family are Iraqi refugees with extremely limited resources.
The fundraising page was set up by staff at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Portland where Jafaar's mother works.

Deanna Kurzbein, a 59-uear-old woman from Gresham, was driving her 2008 Nissan Rogue eastbound on Burnside.
Police say it was a "horrific accident."
She is not being charged.
