Portland Man Found Dead In A Gresham Park Ruled Homicide: Police

The body of 24-year-old Jose Juan Santos-Elias was discovered Sunday at Pat Pfeifer Park. Authorities said he died of a gunshot wound.

GRESHAM, OR β€”A Portland man was found shot to death at Gresham park on Sunday, and the Multnomah County Medical Examiner has ruled the death a homicide, The Oregonian reported.

According to reports, at about 8:45 p.m., police discovered the body of 24-year-old Jose Juan Santos-Elias at Pat Pfeifer Park after responding to a death investigation call at 424 Northeast 172nd Avenue.

Gresham police spokesman Kevin Carlson said the victim may have been shot about an hour before officers arrived.

Carlson said the police have not identified any suspects.
