Sandy Police, Kiwanis Club To Accept Toy And Food Donations
For the 60th year, the Sandy Kiwanis Christmas Basket Program plans to assist hundreds of families in-need this Christmas.

SANDY, OR — The Sandy Police Department's Reserve Unit is getting into the Christmas spirit with another annual toy drive for the Sandy Kiwanis Christmas Basket Program.
For its 60th year running, the Sandy Kiwanis club will accept food and toy donations for families in-need this holiday season. Last year, according to Sandy Kiwanis officials, the program took in enough food to feed 400 families.
Hoping to build on its haul last year, which saw more than 200 toys donated to local children, the Sandy Reserves will accept toy donations at the Sandy Police Department, 39850 Pleasant St., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday until Dec. 13. Toys for both boys and girls ages 10 and older are encouraged.
