Teen Stabbed in Possible Drug Deal Gone Bad

Teen is in critical condition and expected to survive.

A teenager was stabbed in what appears to have been a drug deal gone bad Tuesday night, Gresham Police say.

It happened just after 6:15 in Red Sunset Park on the 2400 block of Northeast Red Sunset Drive.

Police responded to a call of a disturbance and found a teen who had been stabbed twice. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and is expected to survive.

Witnesses told police it was a marijuana deal gone bad.

A handgun was recovered at the scene but there was no indication that it had been fired.

Police describe the suspects as:

The first suspect is described as a heavy set 16 year old Asian male; 

the second suspect is described as a skinny 16 to 17 year old African American male; 

the third and fourth suspects are described as skinny 15 to 16 year old Caucasian males.
