
Two schools in the Gresham-Barlow School District tested positive for possible elevated levels of ;had in the drinking water, district officials said late Wednesday.
The schools are Powell Valley Elementary and Dexter McCarty Middle School.
Follow up testing will be done at both.

At Powell, 29 fixtures were tested and two came back with readings requiring follow-up: the reading intervention classroom and kitchen.
At Dexter McCarty, 19 fixtures were tested with fixtures in the special education classroom, functional skills classroom, and kitchen, coming back  requiring more testing.

The two schools were part of a batch of five that came back Wednesday.
East Gresham Elementary, Kelly Creek Elementary, and West Gresham Elementary all came back with no positive tests requiring follow up.
The district is still waiting on the results of 13 other schools.
Earlier Wednesday, the state announced it was urging all school districts to do lead testing by the end of the summer.
