After 'Road Rage Incident', Police Arrest California Woman Outside Forest Grove
Christina Salazar, of Vallejo, California, allegedly pointed a 9mm handgun at another motorist Saturday night, earning her a trip to jail.

FOREST GROVE, OR — A California woman was arrested by Washington County Sheriff's deputies outside Forest Grove Saturday night after allegedly pointing a firearm at another motorist in what police are describing as a "road rage incident."
Christina Salazar, 28, of Vallejo, California, was lodged at the Washington County Jail on charges of menacing and unlawful possession of firearms, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. She has since been released.
Police were initially called to the Northwest Timber Road and Northwest Wilson River Highway area shortly before 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12, where they were informed by a witness that a woman had pointed a firearm at them during a road rage incident.

While deputies were interviewing the witness, Salazar reportedly drove by them. Quickly, WCSO deputies and Oregon State Police caught up to Salazar and conducted a "high-risk traffic stop" northwest of Forest Grove, in the Northwest Gales Creek Road and Northwest David Hill Road area, police said.
During the traffic stop and subsequent search of Salazar's vehicle, police found an unloaded Glock 17 9mm handgun in the center console.
