Virtual Information Sessions: Explore Oregon Charter Academy (K–12 Online Public Charter School)

Considering a change for your student’s education? Oregon families are invited to free virtual information sessions to learn how Oregon Charter Academy (ORCA) supports K–12 students through a tuition-free, accredited online public charter school experience built around flexibility, structure, and individualized support.
As one of Oregon’s longest-running online public charter schools, Oregon Charter Academy serves K-12 students across every county in the state. With enrollment open year-round, students can transition to ORCA at nearly any point in their academic journey.
The virtual information sessions will provide an overview of ORCA’s award-winning curriculum and student support model. Families will meet ORCA staff, have time to ask questions, and learn about enrichment opportunities, including more than 50 clubs, local meetups, monthly field trips and career-focused programs such as the ASCEND Career and Technical Education pathway.

Oregon Charter Academy (ORCA) is the state’s first virtual public charter school, celebrating over 20 years of virtual education success. The tuition-free virtual public charter school, formerly known as Oregon Connections Academy, became independent in 2020 to better serve K-12 students throughout Oregon with advanced technology and customizable approaches to a standards-based curriculum.
ORCA has more than 50 student clubs, monthly field trips, a career and technical education (CTE) program, college credit options, a teen parent program, AVID implementation and monthly NASA sessions. ORCA was voted as Best Public School Overall, Best Charter School and Best Overall Leadership (Statesman Journal) and was the only school on the West Coast recognized as a 2021Cognia International School of Distinction.
