Hillsboro Citizens's Academy Looking for Volunteers - Deadline Friday

Are you living in Hillsboro and wanting to get more involved with city government? Or at least want know more about how things work?
The City of Hillsboro has an idea: join their about to launch Citizens's Academy.
As they say, it's a: project-based, intensive workshop experience for Hillsboro citizens interested in building community-government skills."

What that means is for six weeks, led by a team from PSU's Hatfield School, people will get to participate in a project to pick an issue and research, work together and develop a series of recommendations to the City Council.
The city says the only requirements are that you live in Hillsboro, care about the community, and be willing to share your ideas.
