Deputies Seek Fugitive Sex Assault Suspect

The Sheriff's Office says that Aaron Emery cut off his GPS monitoring bracelt.

Take a good look at the man in the picture. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says his name is Aaron James Emery and he sexually assaulted a teenager.

They also say they are trying to find him after he cut off his GPS monitor and fled the Washington County Community Corrections Center.

Emery, 3o, had been arrested in October after a DNA match linked him to an attack in March 2015.

He bailed out after his arrested and was moved to the community corrections center to finish serving a sentence on an assault charge.

Inmates in the center can leave during the day to work or get treatment. Emery was working in the restaurant industry. Last week Emery cut off his GPS monitor and did not return to the center.

An arrest warrant has been issued.

The sheriff's office says if you see him call 9-1-1.
