Fired Deputy Pleads Guilty to Strangling Coworker
Jonathan Christensen will be sentenced in September.

A fired Washington County Sheriff's Office Deputy has pleaded guilty to strangling a coworker as well as charges of coercion and misconduct.
Jonathan Christensen was fired last August and arrested in December after being indicted.

The investigation was started after anonymous letters arrived at the sheriff's office as well as The Oregonian naming deputies that were allegedly involved in misconduct.
Christensen was one of those named in the letter.

Two other deputies have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the investigation - one to a charge of misconduct and one to a charge of sexual harassment.
Jonathan Christensen will be sentenced on September 6th.
