Former Coach at Liberty High School Sentenced to 10 Years for Sex Abuse
Stevens Hyppolite pleaded guilty in October.
A 43-year-old man from Hillsboro who pleaded guilty in October to charges of sodomy, sex abuse, and using a child in a display of sexually explicit content, will spend the next ten years in prison.
Stevens Hyppolite was a coach for the Lady Warriors Basketball team as well as the Liberty High School Junior Varsity boy's basketball team and the Oregon City High School girl's team.
Police said he met his victim while he was coaching the Warriors club team.

Hillsboro Police said he had abused a girl between 2011 and 2014 when the girl was between 14- and 17-years-old. They only found out about the abuse this past March.
Based on that information, they obtained a search warrant for Hyppoite's home in Hillsboro.
