The Guy in the Picture? Cops Say He's a Bicycle Thief

Take a good look at the man in the picture. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says that on Friday afternoon he stole a bicycle belonging to a man with special needs. It happened at the Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer.

Deputies say it was around 1:20 and Jason Eland - who lives with his sister as he is unable to care for himself - was at the Fred Meyer when the bicycle - a red Trek bicycle - was stolen.

The bicycle is a huge part of Jason's life. Every day he rides from his sister's home to the Fred Meyer and then to Washington Square Mall and then back home.

The man in the picture is seen watching the bicycle and then getting on it and riding away. Deputies searched the area but didn't find him or the bicycle.

The suspect was described as a white male with short hair. He was wearing a dark coat and a blue backpack.
