Teen Who Went Missing Rescued by Loggers

Emma Beggs went for a run while camping and got lost.

A 13-year-old girl who went running at a campsite Monday evening and never came back was brought to safety by loggers who had heard of plight.

Emma Beggs of Aloha had gone for a run at the Gales Creek Campground around 6:00 p.m. on Monday. When she still hadn't returned just before 10, her family called the sheriff's office.

There was no cell service in the heavily wooded area so the family had to drive a distance to be able to reach the sheriff's office.
