Many materials frequently flushed or poured down the drain can harm the pipes that connect to the City’s Sanitary Sewer System. Putting the wrong things down the drain can damage the Sewer System, and cause sewer backups in your home.
Remember, toilet paper is the only thing that is safe to flush. Everything else goes in the trash, including products that claim to be "flushable."
