Hillsboro Cops Bust Carjacking Suspct

A 25-year-old man from Portland is under arrest, charged with forcing a woman from her car, which he then stole, according to police. Marshall Andrew Litten is charged with robbery, eluding police, and unlawful use of a weapon.

They say it was around 6:30 Thursday evening when Hillsboro were called to 18599 Northwest Heritage Parkway.

There, a 23-year-old woman told then that she was getting into her 2002 Mazda when a man approached her with a crowbar, forced her away from the car, which he then stole.

She said he appeared to flee north on 185th Avenue and get on 26 Eastbound.

At the Sylvan exit, he crashed the car into an embankment and fled on foot. Beaverton Police responded to the crash, found the car, and then the suspect.

Beaverton Police then turned Litten over to Hillsboro Police.
