Hensley was driving his Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Highway 20 around 5 p.m. Friday when 20-year-old Los Angeles resident Walter Bonilla, who was traveling west, drifted his 2015 Nissan Altima into Hensley's lane.

The July 28 crash marks the second time in two months someone has died in a traffic collision near milepost 93. KTVZ News in central Oregon reported a multi-vehicle crash in the same area on June 25 that left two people dead — a 28-year-old Bend man and an 80-year-old Eugene woman.

In that crash, police say the Bend man drifted across the centerline before colliding with the woman, killing them both and causing two other vehicles to also crash.
