Hillsboro Man Dies in Single Vehicle Crash

A Hillsboro man died early Saturday morning in a one-car crash.

It happened just around 1:00 Saturday morning on Highway 219.

Sheriff's desquites and Hillsboro Police responded to a call for a crash.

They found a 2005 Honda Civic over an embankment on the west side of the road.

Investigators determined the Honda had failed to negotiate a turn, went over the embankment, hit a tree and flipped over.

The driver, 22-year-old Dashiell Solberg-Bell of Hillsboro, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened but think excessive speed might have been a factor.
