Hillsboro Schools, Police Plan Emergency Drill for Students and Parents
Hundreds will take part in drill on Friday.

Hillsboro Police and the Hillsboro Police Department Friday will stage an large-scale reunification drill on Friday.
The exercise will simulate what would happen if there was an event at a school that required evacuation and relocation.
The event will be staged at Hillsboro Stadium.

Four hundred students, 200 parents, and 100 staff volunteers from the district will participate.
There is no school Friday.

""These drills provide us with a unique and valuable opportunity to put our plans into action," said Casey Waletich, Executive Director of Facilities, Planning, and Operations.
"We are very grateful to our partners in Police and Fire for helping us with the logistics and execution of these events so we can enhance the knowledge of our staff, and increase the safety of our schools and students."
