Hillsboro Teen Saved by Good Samaritans

Jordan Moore was pulled from the burning Jeep Cherokee he was driving by passersby

Jordan Moore from Hillsboro has some good Samaritans to thank.

It was just before 11 p.m. Saturday night and the 18-year-old was driving his Jeep Cherokee by the intersections of Highways 6 and 26 near Banks when he crashed.

The Jeep burst into flames and Moore, his female passenger, and a dog named Gaby were all trapped.

Fortunately, people driving by the same Jeep and the flames starting to grow.

Four people pulled the woman and the dog from one side while an off-duty sheriff's deputy pulled Moore from the Jeep.

None of the good Samaritans were hurt.

The woman was brought to Legacy Emanuel while Moore was brought to OHSU. He is stable and expected to recover. Her condition - and name - has not been released.

Gaby is fine and with family.
